The SMOK AL85’s display provides information displayed in real time, just like its big brother. It has full temperature control functionality with adjustable TCR plus three memory settings. The kit comes with the Baby Beast, a killer combo for any stealthy flavor chaser.
Inexpensive way to “try vaping” – Vape pen mods may not be the end-all-be-all, however, they are a great cheap way for people to get their feet wet. They can see what vaping is all about by purchasing a cheap vape pen for under $20 before they invest $100 into an advanced vape starter kit.
You can control the intensity of your session by adjusting the power flow. There are three settings from mellow to intense. When you hit the fire button, vapor production is almost instant. Phenomenal. Remember, the Series 3X is a true vape pen, not much bigger or more conspicuous than an actual pen.
My order shipped 2 days ago and I just received it and am very happy with it, quality is very good, the prices are better than what I can get locally the e-cig is half what I would have paid here at home. I have nothing but high praise for everything and everyone.
The V2 Series 3 is a vape pen starter kit that uses three different cartridges that can be attached easily by just popping them in. They have one for dry herb, one for waxy concentrates and last but not least one for e-liquid. They also make a Series 7 which is a more powerful version of this.
If by kbox mini you are referring to the Kanger Subox, then yes I would say it is a decent little box mod that will fire up to 50W! Also check out the Innokin Disrupter as that is also a good 50W box. Need to add that one to this list!

Box mods come in different designs, configurations, and aesthetics. They may be constructed with fixed internal LiPo batteries that recharge via USB cables or with removable Li-Ion batteries that can be recharged either via USB or outside the mod in a dedicated charger. The majority of USB-recharged box mods allow vaping while charging (called passthrough), but not all. Removable battery vape mods allow the user to swap out drained batteries for fresh, fully-charged batteries. Both types are popular and available.
Two mods come to mind that you missed. Snow Wolf 200W and iStick TC40W. I really think you should check out the iStick TC40W as its a great TC mod for its price point. Its great for an intro TC device if anything. I really hope to see it on your list soon. Seems like you guys neglected it for some reason. To be honest, I had it and ran my Herakles in TC mode and it was amazing! Flavor and clouds were outstanding. I moved up to my evic vt for battery life and my iStick TC40W was vaped forward to a friend.
The life force of a vape pen is its battery, so it’s important to make sure your vape pen has a strong one. Expensive vape pens usually last longer without having to be charged. Cheaper vaporizer pens might need to be charged through the day. Most vape pens can be charged via USB, and some feature pass-through charging that enables you to vape while you charge.
The Top 1 is a sportscar-inspired mod by Sigelei. It runs on two 18650 cells and provides loads of power and full TC support. It has presets for various types of stainless steel in addition to adjustable TCR functionality. The Sigelei Top 1 has a massive 1.3-inch screen with 3 menu styles to choose from.
In the world of portable vaporizers, there’s a lot to consider, from size and shape down to what’s inside and what makes it tick. There is a lot of verbiage out there regarding pen vaporizers and vape pens, and many people are under the impression that since both are handheld, that these vapor pens are the same. Truthfully, the difference is in the size, and in this case, size does matter. But what is the real difference between the two? And can you get the best of both worlds?
So, what liquids CAN you put in a vape pen (provided we are talking about an e-juice pen)? It would be best to stick to vape juices from reputable manufacturers. If you’re having problems vaping with a particular vape juice brand, switch to another – keep in mind that high PG e-liquids are easier to vape on since they are not as viscous as high VG juices.
The JUUL is a pod style vape pen. It is by far and away the easiest vape pen starter kit to use on the market. If you don’t want the hassle of coils and filling tanks then the Juul is for you. The JUUL is a pod vape, meaning it uses a super simple pod system. The pods are prefilled cartridges that slot into the device and can be immediately vaped on.
The mod features a three piece design, with colorful acrylic panels. The mod goes up to 85 watts with full TC abilities and upgradeable firmware. If you love the Pico, but also want to use larger atomizers, now you can. Combined with the ELLO, this is an excellent and versatile starter kit.
Exxus GO Vaporizers are manufactured by Exxus Vape, the popular brand that designed the Exxus Mini and Exxus Maxx. This highly-portable vaporizer is engineered specifically to vaporize essential oils and concentrates, and it does a spectacular job thanks to features like a Triple Quartz XL Atomizer, magnetic base, and five-second warm up time. Exxus Vape is changing the way concentrates are vaped with the Exxus GO.
However, the FDA Commissioner improperly included KandyPens in a category with JUUL and other e-cigarette products that contain nicotine. KandyPens does not, and never has, made any pre-filled liquid nicotine pods. Rather, all KandyPens’ products are sold empty – without any liquid, e-juice, or concentrate – and are for aromatherapy purposes only. KandyPens deliberately designed its products to enable each individual user to decide what to insert into the pods and KandyPens’ products are not intended for use solely with nicotine.
A vape mod is a power source, essentially a case that contains one or more rechargeable batteries, that supplies electricity to a vaping atomizer. They are also referred to as “vapor mods”. The term “mod” has its origins in the early years of e-cigs, where hobbyist vapers “modified” existing electrical hardware (cases, batteries, wiring, etc.) for custom use as vaping hardware.
The IQ by DaVinci is an innovative and intuitive vaporizer that boasts features such as a 100% ceramic zirconium air path and construction from quality materials that are designed to produce a purer, cleaner vape. This unit also has three distinct modes which permit a high level of customization and precise temperature control. Compact yet powerful, this vaporizer is backed by a 10-year warranty and the legendary reputation of the DaVinci brand.
Very nice round up. I think your list sums it all up as far as mods go. You have listed a device for every type of vapor out there. Myself, having gone through alot of mods…..MVP 2, 20W….iStick 30W, 50W…Sigelei 30W mini…Smok XPro M80 Plus. I have finally settled on a simple but powerful mod. The Sigelei 150W in Royal Blue. I found out that I wanted something with power, replaceable batteries, and a great product. I did read your review of the Sigelei 150W and liked it. You guys are good. Keep up the excellent work.
Today’s vape mods are sophisticated devices, often supporting advanced features such as temperature control, variable wattage and tracking functionality. You don’t need this tech to get a great vape, but it helps!
I am guessing that the ipv3 Li didn’t make it because it came out last year? I had the choice to pre-order the snow wolf 1.5 or get it and I am totally happy with the decision. Also, what about the iPV 5? Whole lot better than the Smok devices you listed. Doesn’t it run a very similar chip (if not same one) that the YiHi SX Mini ML Class has?
When the vape pen is loaded, the user clicks the single button interface, which heats the coil inside the atomizer. Some vape pens have one temperature, others have multiple presets. Most vapor pens have click controls. For example, with many vape pens, five clicks powers the vaporizer pen on and three clicks toggles temperature. Holding the button down heats the vape pen. At that point, the vaporizer pen coil heats materials at a temperature beneath the point of combustion, creating smoother, smokeless hits. Vape pen heat up time is usually under a minute.
In 2016, the US Travel Security Administration added some limitations to flying with vape pens. Vapers are now allowed to have them in their carry on bags, but not in their checked luggage (actually, devices with built-in batteries are not permitted in checked luggage, which automatically applies to most vape pens). As for vape juice, it’s allowed on the plane, but in 3-ounce bottles packed neatly into a one-quart plastic see-through bag per person. It’s possible to carry more vape juice in your checked luggage, but make sure to declare that at the check-in and ask if there are any limitations. Outside of the US, the same rules apply, although the wisest decision is to check the airline conditions before the flight.
